Not everyone has heard of Be Broadband and even those that have may not be aware of the background of this provider. Here are some of the basics about Be Broadband and why they are worth consideration along with other providers.
The company has been in the business of providing broadband services since 2005 and in fact they were the first to implement ADSL2+, a bandwidth option that provided speeds that were superior to those of much larger companies. This early success caught the attention of O2, who promptly purchased the company.
There are three broadband deals that are offered by Be Broadband. The most basic is Be Value. With this plan, consumers receive up to 8meg of downloads and unlimited usage. The Value package is available with a twelve-month contract.
The Be Unlimited package takes the service up a few notches, offering up to 24meg of download, up to 1.3meg upload capabilities and there is still unlimited usage. Rather than having one contract period, it is possible to commit to the Unlimited package for terms of three, nine and twelve months.
The Be Pro package offers the best possible bargain in terms of price and functionality. There is still the potential for up to 24meg of download and unlimited usage, but this package also includes up to 2.5meg upload capability. In addition, there is one static IP included. Like the Unlimited plan, the Pro package is available on three, nine and twelve-month contracts.
Given the low cost of these three plans, you might expect some charges up front, like connection fees. However, this is not the case, instead, what you do get is a straightforward broadband service that is reliable and affordable. For anyone thinking of making a switch, Be Broadband is definitely worth a look.
