Not only does the mobile network, Orange, offer mobile broadband but they also offer good home broadband deals. There are four broadband deals to choose from and these are available at a reduced price for existing Orange mobile phone customers. They all operate a fair usage policy in terms of their unlimited broadband downloads and customers can expect to achieve connection speeds of up to 20Mb.
You can also choose from a selection of bundles in which you can purchase Orange home broadband alongside a mobile phone contract, mobile broadband or home phone for a reduced tariff. They even offer line rental.
Their Home Max package comes in at £9.50 on an 18 month contract and you can expect to receive speeds of up to 20Mb, which is standard across all of their packages. This package must be purchased with their phone service. The next package is Home Select that costs £12 per month, unless you are an existing mobile phone customer in which case you will pay £9 per month. Unlimited usage is also standard across their packages but is subject to a fair usage policy. Home Max is available for £6.50 per month for the first three months and Home Ultra for £10.50.
Of course, one of the benefits that have long been enjoyed by Orange mobile customers is the Orange Wednesdays offer giving two for one cinema tickets. Orange home broadband customers are also allowed this benefit.
It is necessary to point out that Orange home broadband was named one of the Which? Don’t Buy products. This is however no true indication of their service as they have around a million customers who are presumably satisfied with what they are receiving.
