Comparison Between Sky Broadband and T-Mobile Broadband

Many broadband deals seem like pretty good value for money on the surface and are advertised in pretty much the same way. The main differences are in the speed of the service. Home broadband now has to compete with mobile broadband, which offers Internet access on a laptop in any location.

Home broadband can be cheaper than mobile broadband, but only at the sacrifice of download speed if a basic package is bought. The base package for Sky broadband offers a download speed of 2Mb, however there is no monthly charge. The next step up from the base package gives 10Mb of download speed, which is considerably more, yet still only costs £5 per month. This package is advertised as having fast speeds and is ideal for daily use. The best package deal on offer is only £10 per month and is advertised as the ultimate online experience, as there is no limit on access. It also has a super fast download speed of up to 20Mb.

In comparison, the T-Mobile broadband USB stick offers broadband on the go for pretty much the same price. The first option costs £10 per month, but you only get 3Gb of Internet access for your money. The only other option costs £20 more, but gives 5Gb of extra Internet usage. There are other, cheaper mobile broadband deals on the market, such as the 3G mobile package.
